From our head office in Lancashire, Personnel Checks provide tailored background screening solutions to organisations across the UK. From large enterprises to local authorities, our team of experts can help you implement robust background screening processes in your business. 

Our disclosure service has been active since 2004 and we work closely with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and Disclosure Scotland. Processing tens of thousands of disclosure applications each year, Personnel Checks is amongst the UK’s top DBS Umbrella Bodies. We provide a professional and streamlined online service and regularly achieve one of the lowest error rates in the country. There are no registration fees, no setup fees, and no minimum form requirements.  

Personnel Checks are members of the Professional Background Screening Association. Our managing director, Jack Mellor, being the sitting vice-chair of the Criminal Record Trade Body (CRTB). We are at the forefront of the industry and use our position and knowledge to provide better solutions for our customers.
