In A Hurry For A Carer’s CRB Check Result?
There is a service which is only available to the care industry whereby employers can receive an email within 72 hours which will confirm if the applicant is on the DBS Adult barred lists. New DBS Application Form
The CRB and ISA (Independent Safeguarding Authority) merged in December 2012 to become the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) The criminal background checking process remains the same, just the name has changed from CRB Checks to DBS Checks.
