Michelle Mellor - Lead Signatory
A Director of Cooke and Mellor Recruitment Limited, her experience spans twenty years in business. Michelle leads the CRB team who work closely to ensure delivery of service and customer satisfaction to clients accessing the disclosure service through Personnel Checks.
REC qualified and originally from the Recruitment Industry, arranging key senior level appointments in the hospitality sector before developing and expanding the CRB service. Over the years Personnel Checks has grown and developed into a very successful business, administering and processing thousands of disclosure applications each year.
Sharon Skinner – Compliance
Sharon has worked within the Cooke & Mellor group of companies for over ten years, originally from the hospitality industry working in four and five star hotel establishments as Reception Manager before joining our team to lead and manage the compliance section within Personnel Checks. She ensures we maintain our compliance audit status and boasts that we have one of the lowest error rates in the country processing with almost 100% accuracy, hundreds of applications every week for our customers.
Hayley Huddart - Sales Manager
Hayley Huddart has joined the Company as Sales Manager for PERSONNEL CHECKS. Hayley is a welcome addition to the CRB check team and brings a wealth of sales, marketing and training experience from diverse industries ranging from motor component manufacture, security, psychiatric care, and software and management consultancy. Her activities will focus on helping the team achieve efficiencies in the sales process and implementing a performance improvement programme whilst working with larger clients, partnerships and contracts to grow personnel checks. She loves walking with her two high maintenance dogs and is training for a trek in Morocco after completing the Tour Du Mont Blanc in 2009.
Ryan Sidley - Counter Signatory
Ryan is integral to our sales team at Personnel Checks, dealing with hundreds of enquiries daily ensuring that all requests for the relevant applications receive the correct advice and information regarding the level of disclosures required. Ryan has been with the company since 2008, is passionate about customer service and happy to help with any kind of query or give advice. A keen Burnley supporter, Ryan lives in Helmshore, plays football and enjoys running.
Alice Wrigley – Counter Signatory
Alice joined our company in 2008 and has a wide range of experience on the CRB process advising individuals and organisations on all aspects of the disclosure service. Excellent administration and customer service skills, Alice was awarded Apprentice of the year 2009 by Training 2000. Alice knows everything there is to know about criminal record checks, working closely with our compliance team and the CRB. Outside of work Alice loves horse riding, walking and wine.
Eileen Birch – CRB Assistant
Eileen has joined Personnel Checks as a CRB Assistant, to cover all aspects of our company Accounts and Administration. Eileen lives locally and lives with her Husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, looking after her 2 rabbits, and also has a passion for painting and drawing. Eileen is able to handle all queries about the CRB process and able to dispatch application forms for all levels of CRB check.
Megan Yates – Trainee Admin and Sales Coordinator
Megan Yates is a bright, motivated and hardworking ‘Trainee Admin and Sales Coordinator’ for Personnel Checks, covering all aspects of the administration and paperwork for the CRB Umbrella Body. Megan studied Business Management at Leeds Metropolitan University, and is now keen to get hands-on experience working within an organisation. Megan has a passion for shopping and fashion, and also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family. She loves to go the Lake District most weekends to relax and spend time with friends.
