The DBS have recently released some information regarding their current delays.
The delays are noticeable in their call centre where unfortunately, calls aren’t answered as quickly as intended due to such high demand.
The DBS have been looking into ways in which they can address the impacts of these increased demands and changes. They are currently recruiting more staff for their call centre and developing their internal processes.
There are also plans to help customers by pointing them in the right direction to information on the DBS website and highlighting the ‘hot topics’ in communications to us.
The DBS are also aware of customers waiting longer than usual when applications are at stage two of the online tracking process- ‘Police National Computer Searched’.
This means that we aren’t getting the checks back as quickly as usual, making the whole process a lot longer for our clients.
Plans are underway at the DBS to address these issues and return to their usual speed as soon as possible.
