Glittering Ball Will Raise £10,000 for Youth Charity

We're staging a Glittering Black & Gold Charity Ball in aid of Blackburn Youth Zone.

200 guests are to attend our event, which will take place at Stanley House in Mellor on the evening of March 14 and will feature performances by members of Blackburn Youth Zone.

Barclays Bank have also generously pledged to support the evening by agreeing to match all funds raised to a maximum of £5,000.

Richard Mellor, Managing Director said; “The support we’ve received from our staff and clients has been overwhelming.

“We’ve had some amazing prizes donated from businesses who have shown real commitment to the cause and I have every confidence we can reach our target of £10,000 on the evening, which will be wonderful for the Youth Zone and the young people of Lancashire.

“We can’t thank people enough for the way they’ve got behind this amazing, worthwhile charity and supported our pledge.”

Businesses attending the event include; PM&M, Caprica Healthcare, Micro P, PLC (Plusnet), Unit 7 cards and gifts, Humberstones, Media Village, Viva PR, The Mall Blackburn, CN Creative, Woodcocks, Haworth & Nuttall.

Blackburn Youth Zone is a safe place for children to go from ages 8 to 18, with a massive variety of activities to get involved in, including; a sports hall, climbing wall, music room, dance studio, gym, recreation area, canteen and even a rooftop football pitch!
