The Personnel Checks Team Get Quizzical in Aid of Rosemere!

The Personnel Checks team ticked all the right boxes at our annual charity quiz night in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s 20 Years Anniversary Appeal!

The money was raised at a social quiz evening held on Friday 13th April 2018 at Enfield Cricket Club in Accrington, alongside our two sister companies; Cummins Mellor and CJUK, facilitated by Quizmaster and company Director Jack Mellor. In total we raised £377.95 for the charity and we're proud to dedicate our evening to the memory of Janet Morgan, mum to long-serving CJUK team member Jodie Morgan.

Jodie, who has been with the team for 10 years, lost her mum to cancer earlier this year. Now, along with her dad Tyrone Morgan, and fiancé Ben Eccles, Jodie is planning to take part in next month’s Ribble Valley Ride cycle challenge, raising further funds to add the £1,000 she has already raised for Rosemere this year.

We have been proudly raising funds at our annual quiz night for Rosemere Cancer Foundation for the last two years. In addition, we have organised other events to help their fantastic work, including Managing Director Michelle Mellor cycling across Cuba in 2015 and through the French Alps last year!

Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s 20 Years Anniversary Appeal is funding a trio of ground-breaking projects at Rosemere Cancer Centre to mark the 20th anniversary of its opening. The centre at the Royal Preston Hospital in Lancashire and South Cumbria’s regional specialist cancer treatment centre. As such, it provides all local radiotherapy treatment among other specialist care.

Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world-class cancer services and treatments to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated not only at Rosemere Cancer Centre but also, at another eight hospitals across the two counties that look after cancer patients, including the Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Teaching Hospitals.
