The Disclosure and Barring Service do have facilities for Welsh language speakers. They can provide translated documentation to assist applicants. However, DBS Certificates cannot be translated.
This is because under the Police Act 1997, the DBS is required to disclose criminal records as it is recorded in central records. This information is recorded on the Police National Computer in English only, so DBS certificates will be issued in English only.
