In practice, this means that our team has a wealth of practical experience dealing with the background screening industry. Out of the 992 registered bodies out there, we rank 14th by volume of DBS check submissions.
Only 14th, you say? It’s true that we don’t submit the most checks, but that’s never been our aim. We don’t want to be the biggest umbrella body, we want to be the best.
Our purpose is to provide a 5 star service and seamless checking experience for our clients. The fact that we process fewer checks than others just means that we have more time to spend looking after you. Something that’s often lacking in larger corporations.

Personnel Checks are members of the Criminal Records Trade Body (CRTB) with our MD sitting as vice-chair of the board. The CRTB is a UK-based trade body that works with and lobbies government to update and refine practices.
