What you Need to Know
If the Ukrainian family includes children under 18 then an Enhanced with Child Barred List check is required for all members of the host household aged 16+.
If the Ukrainian family are adults only then a Basic check is required for all members of the host household aged 16+.
If there are adult members of the Ukrainian family that require additional support i.e. personal care, and the additional support will be undertaken by the host then an Enhanced with Adults Barred List check on the host who is proposed to provide the support.
Local Authorities are required to cover the cost of DBS checks.
